Dunadd Eight Year Old has been created from a finely balanced selection of Scotch Whiskies which have been matured in oak casks.

This wonderfully balanced 8yo Dunadd blend shows powerfully round, full, herbal and elegant fragrances on the nose. Detect on the palate soft, subtle yet entertainingly chewy notes which are clean, still spiced and honeyed. All this finishes dry, elegantly herbal with a light toast and grist twist.

Kilmartin Glen, in the heart of Mid Argyll, is one of Scotland’s richest prehistoric landscapes and is located between Oban and Lochgilphead, surrounding the village of Kilmartin, on the west of Scotland. It is said to be one of the richest areas in Europe for prehistoric remains. Over 800 historic monuments, cairns, standing stones, stone circles and rock art dating back over 5000 years have been recorded within this area.

Named after Kilmartin Glen for its rich history, this 8 year old single malt shows fresh, citrus, herbal notes on the nose. Its palate reflects gently the area’s richness of the old days with clean, sweet vanilla and toffee flavours. It concludes in a lingering spicy, rich and gentle finish, as gentle and rich as the inhabitants of Kilmartin.

Kilmartin Glen Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Kilmartin Glen Islay single malt Scotch whisky originates from the Island of Islay far off the west coast of Scotland in the Atlantic Ocean; a tiny island (40km x 25km) justifiably famous for its peaty flavoured malt whiskies. It enjoys a relatively mild climate compared with most of Scotland, as it’s regularly warmed by the waters of the Gulf Stream travelling north from the Caribbean. This results in a unique local microclimate, affecting the nature of the island.

Nose: Rich peat smoke, gentle citrus, costal air and distant smoke
Palate: Smokey, medicinal, wood and vanilla
Finish: Peat smoke pleasantly lingers with gentle sweetness.

King Mόr Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

King Mόr has been created from a number of finely balanced and different-aged single malts from the Island of Islay imparting the classical smoky character typical of whiskies of the region.

As founder of the Scottish nation back in 500 AD, this fine blended malt was created to celebrate King Mόr’s heritage without whom Scotland would not exist today.

King Mόr originates from the Islay, an island far off the west coast of Scotland in the Atlantic Ocean; only (40km x 25km) and world famous for its peaty malt whiskies.

Islay enjoys a relatively mild climate compared with most of Scotland, as it’s warmed by the waters of the Gulf Stream travelling north from the Caribbean. This results in a unique local microclimate, which influences the nature of the island, and flavour of its whiskies.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Strong peat smoke with hints of maritime air, heather and a rich nuttiness.

Palate:

Very smoky and elegant fragrances, rich & supple with vanilla and oak.

Finish:

Lingering Smoke with sweet malt notes.

King Mόr 8 years old Peated blended malt Scotch whisky originated from both Speyside & Highland regions.

The clear water of the river Spey has attracted many whisky Distilleries and thus created one of the most important whisky regions in Scotland called Speyside while Highland is Scotland’ s largest geographical whisk producing area particularly if one like a dram of Scotland’ s favourite drink. This also makes the region a tourism hotspot, with many tourists keen to sample the local produce.

Nose:

Complex, malty, floral and oily with elegant distant peat smoke.

Palate:

Initially fresh and fruity then a hit of earthy peat with salty toffee notes.

Finish:

Soft with lingering smoke and pleasant sweetness.
